Kiowa County Hospital District: Clinical Educator, Eads, CO. Clinical Educator at Kiowa County Hospital District. Work Schedule: PRN. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the implementation of BLS, ACLS, PALS, and First Aid educational offerings primarily at Kiowa County Hospital District and on occasion at other facilities in Eastern Colorado.  In addition to teaching BLS, ACLS, PALS, and First Aid, this individual may assist with simulation drills and mock code drills at KCHD.  Will contribute to the professional growth and development of staff to promote excellence in patient care.    Requirements: Required licensure/certification:   Must become certified in BLS, ACLS, First Aid, and PALS within three months of hire.  Must become certified as instructor to teach BLS, ACLS, First Aid, and PALS within the first six months of hire.  Be willing to travel to other locations throughout Eastern Colorado.  This position’s pay range is $31.90 - $42.93 per hour, based on qualifications/experience. Effective 05/01/2022, the Eads Landfill will be accepting residential organic yard waste (grass clippings, weeds, tree trimmings) for free as long as the load is yard waste only! Hours of operation are Wednesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Regular disposal fees are as follows: general waste $0.05/pound, e-waste $0.40/pound, tires $3 to $25 each depending on size. Effective 06/25/2022, residential general waste will be discounted on the last Saturday of each month at $0.03 per pound (no discount on commercial loads). We now rent rolloff dumpsters! Kiowa County Hospital District. Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Eads, CO. Full time CNA at Kiowa County Hospital District (KCHD). Work Schedule:  Full Time Nights, 12 Hour Shifts. Responsibilities: CNA will assist patients with activities of daily living, obtain vital signs and other pertinent data while staying within the CNA scope of care as defined by the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.  The CNA must be willing to provide compassionate and comfort care in the following areas:  acute care, emergency department, skilled swing bed and non-skilled swing bed.  Requirements: Required licensure/certification:  Basic Life Support (BLS).  Applicant can obtain BLS at KCHD.
